Personal Data may be freely provided by you (e.g., when submitting a service request or linking a social media account) or collected automatically (e.g., Usage Data when using JobSnap). Unless specified as optional, all requested Data is mandatory to provide our services. Failure to provide mandatory Data may prevent JobSnap from functioning fully. JobSnap may use Cookies or other tracking tools to provide services and for purposes outlined in this policy and our Cookie Policy. Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data they obtain, publish, or share through JobSnap.

We process Personal Data using computers and IT tools, following strict organizational procedures aligned with the purposes below. Background Screening

  • Purpose: Conduct background checks on service providers to ensure safety and trust.
  • Data Used: Background Check Data (e.g., full name, date of birth, Social Security Number if provided, driver’s license number, address history).
  • Retention: Retained only as long as necessary to complete the check and onboard the provider, then deleted or anonymized unless required by law or Checkr’s terms.

Detailed Information on the Processing of Personal Data

  1. Hosting and Backend Infrastructure
  • Purpose: Ensure JobSnap operates reliably.
  • Data Used: Identifiers, Usage Data, IP address, device information.
  • Retention: As long as your account is active or as needed for service continuity.
  • Processors: Third-party hosting providers (list available upon request).
  1. Registration and Authentication
  • Purpose: Create and manage user accounts.
  • Data Used: First name, last name, email address, phone number.
  • Retention: Until account deletion, unless legally required otherwise.

Legal Basis of Processing

Retention Time Details

  • Social Network Data: Retained only while linked and removed upon disconnection.
  • Usage Data: Kept indefinitely in anonymized form for platform improvement.

Data is deleted or anonymized after the retention period unless you consent otherwise or law requires retention.

Sharing: With hosting providers, IT vendors, and social media platforms (if linked) for business purposes. No “sale” or “sharing” for advertising occurs unless opted into via social features.
Rights: Opt out of sale/sharing, request access/deletion/correction. Contact us or use the privacy choices link on JobSnap. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.

FCRA Rights: If a background check affects your eligibility as a service provider, you will receive a copy of the report and a summary of your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) from Checkr, including options to dispute inaccurate information.

Further Information for Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah Consumers

Categories Collected: Same as above.
Purposes: Same as above. No targeted advertising unless opted into via social features.
Sharing: Same as above; may constitute a “sale” under some laws.
Rights: Opt out of sale/targeted advertising, access, delete, correct, portability. Contact us or use the privacy choices link. GPC supported where applicable.
